Changes in the Rules – Related to Banks, ATMs, PF, LPG gas
01. Rules for withdrawing money from ATM
There is a charge for withdrawing money from an ATM. Did you know that the government has changed the rules for ATM cash withdrawal in lockdown? The government canceled service charges taken at the time of cash withdrawal. However, from July 1, you will have to pay for withdrawing cash at the end of the ATM limit again.
02. Rules regarding the minimum balance
From today, you will have to keep a minimum balance in your bank account, otherwise, you may have to pay a fine. In the lockdown, the government dropped the additional charges for not maintaining a minimum balance. However, the minimum balance will not be charged again. This means that if you do not have the minimum balance in your account, you will have to pay a penalty.
03. LPG prices may go up
Oil marketing companies change the price of LPG LPG and aerial fuel ATF at the beginning of each month. Prices have been rising steadily for the past few months. In such a situation, its price is also likely to increase.
04. Changes related to mutual funds
There has also been a change regarding mutual funds and you will have to pay stamp duty to buy mutual funds. According to the new rules, in case of buying a mutual fund, 0.005% of the total investment has to be paid to the stamp duty.
05. Change in interest rates of Punjab National Bank
If you have an account with Punjab National Bank, now your savings are going to have a big impact, as the interest rate on savings deposited in PNB Bank will change from July 1. Under which the interest rate will be deducted 0.50%. That means after that the interest rate will be 3.25%.
06. Online registration for new companies
Now it will be easier to open a new company and you can simply register the company from the base sitting at home. Before that, the company has to submit many documents to register.
07. Change of pension rules
Along with the banks, the pension rules are also going to be changed so that the auto-debit facility of the pension scheme can be restarted. This facility was kept till 30th June and now it can be re-launched from 1st July.
08. PF. Related rules
In the lockdown, the government changed the rules regarding PF, under which account holders can withdraw a certain amount from their PF account, but now that period has expired.
09. Minimum amount of PPF and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana
The government has also changed the rules regarding PPF and Sukanya Samridhi Yojana. Under which the minimum installments in these accounts have not been deposited in 2019-20, they can repay the installment till June 30, 2020.
